Ukrainian Drone Manufacturer TechEx at ILA Berlin 2026
TechEx joined the IRON cluster delegation of ten Ukrainian defence-tech companies at ILA Berlin, participating in a series of meetings with leading representatives of Germany’s defence industry and government.
Germany is Ukraine’s largest bilateral provider of security assistance, making it a natural focus for Ukrainian manufacturers seeking to deepen industrial ties with Western partners. The IRON mission brought together companies across Ukraine’s defence-tech ecosystem for a structured programme of bilateral engagements in Berlin.
During ILA, the delegation held meetings with major German industry players including Stark Defence, Quantum Systems, Rheinmetall, Diehl Defence, Helsing, Auterion, and MBDA. Separately, a broader group of ten Ukrainian companies met with representatives of the German Federal Ministry of Defence to discuss opportunities for expanded cooperation between the two countries’ defence industries. The delegation also engaged with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
Discussions centred on new partnership opportunities, joint venture frameworks, and pathways toward deeper industrial integration — including co-development and potential local production arrangements between Ukrainian and German manufacturers.
For TechEx, the Berlin engagements reflect a broader strategic direction: translating years of frontline operational experience and proven system performance into durable industrial relationships with NATO-aligned partners. The company continues to pursue co-development and technology cooperation discussions with European counterparts.
