Technology proven in combat
TechEx is a Ukrainian defense technology company and the first manufacturer in Ukraine of fiber-optic-controlled drones codified to NATO standards. We design and mass-produce FPV drones and components whose effectiveness is proven not on a test range, but in real combat conditions.
Where we come from
Our team began experimenting with UAV technologies during the defense of Kyiv in 2022. The company’s founders come from the military — and that origin shaped the principle TechEx is built on: from the military for the military.
We don’t adapt civilian products to frontline needs. Every product is designed from the ground up around the real requirements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — to strengthen frontline units with reliable, effective, and battle-relevant technology. Our team brings together engineers, UAV operators, and defense technology specialists, and continuous feedback from more than 80 partner units shapes everything we build next.
What we build
At the core of our lineup is the Stalker XO series — drones controlled via fiber-optic link. The modern battlefield is saturated with electronic warfare: radio channels are jammed, signals are intercepted, and crews are located by their emissions. A fiber-optic link removes those risks entirely — it cannot be jammed, intercepted, or direction-found. The drone maintains stable control and clean video across its full flight range, including low terrain, interiors, and zones of dense EW coverage where radio-controlled systems lose connection.
We manufacture the critical components ourselves. Our fiber-optic spools are an in-house design with record-low weight, tight quality control, and consistent fiber deployment — which translates into more payload capacity, predictable performance, and independence from external suppliers.
We also address the defense of the sky. Hostile reconnaissance and strike UAVs have become one of the main threats to both troops and rear infrastructure, and countering them with missiles is unsustainably expensive. The Striker Mini, our high-speed interceptor drone, is the scalable, cost-effective answer: built to detect and destroy aerial targets, it puts air defense within reach of an individual unit.
We don’t offer one-size-fits-all products. An open payload architecture and mission-specific customization mean every customer receives a tool assembled for their exact task.
Stronger together: international cooperation
Ukraine’s defense resilience depends on deep integration with its partners. Joint production, technology exchange, and NATO-standard interoperability make the entire defense ecosystem more resistant to any challenge — which is why international cooperation is not a side activity for us, but part of our strategy.
That cooperation works both ways. Partnering with international companies and governments lets us scale battlefield-tested technologies and make them available wherever they are needed. At the same time, Ukrainian experience carries unique practical value for allied defense industries: our products are tested in the most intense electronic warfare environment in the world, and our cycle from frontline feedback to refined serial product is measured in weeks, not years.
TechEx works with the Ukrainian state through the BRAVE1 defense innovation cluster and the Dot Chain procurement system, represents Ukrainian technology at international venues — DALO, ILA Berlin, IDEB, XPONENTIAL Europe — and is building partnerships across NATO countries.
